MEET STACIA

Stacia currently provides expressive arts services in Humarock, MA, where she helps children and community members connect more deeply with themselves through creative modalities. Passionate about healing through the arts, she applies her degree in Expressive Arts Therapy to empower individuals to connect, create, and regulate for improved wellbeing. She has dedicated her adult life and much of her adolescence to supporting others in creative ways.
Stacia earned her Master’s in Expressive Arts Therapy from Lesley University in 2018. During her studies, she interned at several health facilities across Massachusetts, including Paraclete Academy in Boston and McLean-Franciscan Children & Adolescent Inpatient Mental Health Unit One in Brighton. At the inpatient clinic, she discovered a passion for supporting young people’s mental health and often picked up extra hours. One of her most meaningful projects was creating a mural with patients to foster a sense of belonging and highlight the power of expressive arts in healing and growth.
Before pursuing her master's, Stacia served as Director of Adoptions & Family Relations at the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation, a nonprofit that connects children with cancer to college sports teams that “adopt” them as honorary teammates. In her role, she saw firsthand the transformative impact of community, connection, and regulation skills on children facing intense physical and emotional challenges.
Stacia’s connection to the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation began through her volunteer work at the Magical Moon Farm & Foundation in Marshfield, MA, where she supported families for over a decade. As a teen, she especially loved leading creative workshops that guided children through crafts and artistic exploration.
Stacia earned her Bachelor of Science in Family Studies with a minor in Kinesiology from the University of New Hampshire in 2013.
