Get cozy and creative! Join Isabel, the fiber artist behind The Felted Acorns, for a hands-on needle felting workshop. Needle felting involves rolling small amounts of wool roving and gently sculpting it with a special barbed needle to interlock fibers and form shapes. In this workshop, you’ll learn the basic techniques and create your very own needle-felted gingerbread man, perfect as a festive ornament or seasonal decoration.
Isabel was first introduced to felting as a child at the Waldorf School of Cape Cod and later rediscovered it as a therapeutic art form. Inspired by her environment and her elementary students, she now crafts and teaches for the simple love of creating.

Workshop Description ✨
Join us for a heartwarming evening of creativity at Sea to Believe. Together, we’ll explore the gentle art of needle felting as we craft soft wool heart garlands using simple cookie cutters as guides.
This gathering is perfect for all levels — whether you’re new to felting or simply looking to unwind through a mindful, hands-on process. All materials are provided. Come as you are and enjoy an evening of connection, creativity, and calm by the sea.
Isabel, a Certified Waldorf Teacher and lifelong fiber artist, first discovered felting as a child and later returned to it as a deeply therapeutic art form. Sea to Believe is delighted to welcome Isabel as she shares her warmth and passion for the craft.

What to Expect
Each gathering begins gently. Families arrive as they are, settling in with tea and time to nurse, feed, or snuggle. We ease into a soft circle of seasonal songs and finger play, followed by a simple seasource™ skill that supports co-regulation, emotional grounding, and maternal wellbeing. We will then move into a creative practice inspired by Waldorf education. Each week, you will be guided through mindful, tactile crafts using natural materials such as wool, beeswax, and silk. You will leave each week with something meaningful for you and your child. All art experiences are beginner friendly.
